About 
          The
          company is managed by Simon Geary B.Sc (Hons) M.Sc, MCIEEM, CEnv, who
          has 23 years’ professional consultancy experience.  In this time he
          has managed a wide variety of ecological projects.
          His expertise includes ornithology (e.g. cirl bunting and barn owl
          surveys), bats, hazel dormouse, badger, reptiles, great crested newt,
          botanical and habitat survey, as well as ecological impact assessment
          and technical reporting to support planning applications.
          
Quality Assurance
          Projects are managed by experienced consultants holding Chartered
          Environmentalist (CEnv) and Full Member status of the Chartered
          Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM).
          Our work complements British Standard 42020 Biodiversity. Code of
          Practice for Planning and Development (BSI 2013).
          Our ecologists hold CIEEM membership, meet CIEEM competencies for
          Botanical and Protected Species surveys and hold Natural England
          survey licenses for bats, hazel dormouse, badger, otter, great crested
          newt, white clawed crayfish or birds e.g. barn owl  and BS8683:
          Process for designing and implementing biodiversity net gain -
          specification. 
Health and Safety
          Health and Safety is fully considered. Consultants meet CSCS
          requirements. Risk Assessments are produced in co-operation with
          clients. Appropriate PPE and safety equipment is worn or employed as
          necessary.
